    A major boo boo here was taking back Caucasus with USSR. Was hoping for you to get a hit and give USA a walk in. Probably a feeble plan. Wonder how much difference that would make. Still a reasonable showing I guess with only a +10 bid.

    Yeah. It was very close. You had the Pacific, just not in time to save the game in Europe. I think you might have been able to spend a bit more on Europe relative to the Pacific once you got the advantage there. And I think you could have given up India in order to focus on saving Moscow. I didn’t do a careful calculation of what you could have done, but I thought you might have had enough air to discourage a Moscow attack for another turn or two if you hadn’t also been worrying about Calcutta.
