    CAPITAL PURGE BONUSES:

    When a power captures an enemy’s capital city, and it’s the first time in which that capital city has been controlled by an enemy; the occupying power will receive a 10 IPC national objective bonus (one time only), plus all cash currently in the possession of the defeated power. All additional times in which the same capital city is recaptured after liberation, the cash currently in the possession of the defeated power is returned to the bank, and there is no national objective bonus for the occupying power.

    CAPITAL LIBERATION BONUSES:

    When a power liberates a capital city from enemy occupation, and it’s the first time in which that capital city has been liberated; the original controlling power will immediately place 4 free infantry units on the capital city (one time only). There is no infantry bonus for any additional times in which the same capital city becomes liberated after recapture.

  • NEUTRAL POWERS & DECLARING WAR:

    The UK Pacific may not declare war, or perform an act of war against Japan until the beginning of their 3rd turn. If Japan makes an unprovoked attack against the UK Pacific, The Soviet Union, and/or the United States, the UK Pacific may then declare war against Japan at the beginning of their next turn.

    The Soviet Union may not declare war, or perform an act of war against any Axis power until the beginning of their 3rd turn. If there has been an unprovoked attack against the Soviet Union from any Axis power, Russia may then declare war against all Axis powers at the beginning of their next turn.

    The United States may not declare war, or perform an act of war against any Axis power until the beginning of their 3rd turn. If there has been an unprovoked attack against the United States from any Axis power, America may then declare war against all Axis powers at the beginning of their next turn.

  • VICTORY OBJECTIVES:

    REPLACES THE OOB VICTORY CONDITION RULES…
    Once a victory objective has been achieved, a victory token will be awarded. The side with the most victory tokens at the end of 10 rounds is the winner (optional: first side to gain 3). Victory tokens are awarded immediately upon completion regardless of when, or how the objective was achieved. Victory tokens may never be awarded twice for the same objective, nor may a victory token be taken away once earned. Once each victory token has been achieved, that side will recieve a fortunes of war bonus for each token awarded during that turn sequence (see “Fortunes of War”). However, any fortunes of war bonuses awarded will not be in effect until the beginning of the next game round.

    The Axis powers control Washington and/or San Francisco

    -The Axis powers control the United Kingdom

    -The Axis powers control Russia

  • FORTUNES OF WAR

    REPLACES THE OOB RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM:
    Once a victory objective has been achieved, a fortunes of war bonus will be awarded to the side that scored the objective. Fortunes of war bonuses are claimed at the end of the turn sequence in which the victory objective/s were achieved, and all eligible nations on the side that claimed the victory objective will receive the bonus. Eligible nations for the Axis powers include Germany and Japan, and eligible nations on the Allies side include UK Europe, the Soviet Union, and the United States (Italy, UK Pacific, China, and France are all considered minor nations and do not receive fortunes of war bonuses). at the end of the given turn sequence which a victory objective was gained, the side that claimed a victory objective will choose a chart, then roll 1d6, and will immediately receive the bonus rolled for using the charts below…

    FORTUNES OF WAR BONUSES:

    AXIS CHART

    1. JET FIGHTERS (GERMANY)
    All German fighters now attack @4 or less, and may also intercept and escort @2 or less

    2. BANZAI ATTACK (JAPAN)
    All Japanese infantry conducting amphibious assaults now attack @2 or less (not boosted with combined arms)

    3. BLITZ TACTICS (GERMANY)
    All German mechanized infantry may now tow one artillery unit each up to 2 spaces during any movement phase

    4. TOKYO EXPRESS (JAPAN)
    All Japanese destroyers may now transport up to 2 infantry units each during the non-combat phase only

    5. MAGNETIC TORPEDOS (GERMANY)
    All German submarines now attack @3 or less, and get 3 dice each when disrupting convoys

    6. KAMIKKAZE HONOUR (JAPAN)
    Kamikaze tokens are immediately replenished to the maximum of 6, and now defend @4 or less

    ALLIES CHART

    1. RADAR (UNITED KINGDOM)
    All UK airbases may now scramble up to 5 air units each, and all British AA guns now defend @2 or less

    2. ESSEX CLASS CARRIERS (UNITED STATES)
    All American aircraft carriers now defend @3 or less, and may also carry up to 3 eligible air units

    3. Improved Transports
    All transports may now carry up to 3 units each if all 3 units are infantry

    4. MASS PRODUCTION (UNITED STATES)
    All American Battleships are now 3 IPCs less, and Strategic Bombers 2 IPCs less

    5. Improved Infantry
    Up to 3 infantry units on a territory containing a victory city now defend @3 or less

    6. Improved Bombers
    All Strategic Bombers now add +3 each when damaging facilities (instead of +2)
