Looks like a great weekend session - thanks for sharing the pics - If you wouldn’t mind helping out I have a question that I can’t seem to find the answer to re Global 39? On the 7.2 setup chart for Germany - it states that “1 Armour” costs 6$ - yet on watching a lot of Youtube videos, it looks like people use a cost of 5$… Is this a special first turn rule? Any clarification you could give would be really appreciated. Thanks

You are aware of the German rule on turn 1 if they Capture I believe Vichy France they can place a Inf Art and a tank there for 5 icps 1 time in game.
Yes regular tanks do cost 6 Icps.
If it’s 5 icps for a tank then that would be a house rule.
A lot stuff in game is in the rules under each country if you haven’t read them completely? -
Hi SS Gen - Many thanks for your quick response - yes I have had a good read through the rules, but just couldn’t find anything that talked about first turn for Germany being anything other than $6. What threw me was this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUVqIVjaipY if you go to about 1min in you will hear that Germany buys 10 tanks with 52 IPCS and has 2 IPCS left over… I appreciate the video is quite old so maybe that’s the reason it’s different - but just wanted to check as this would obviously have a fundamental impact! Thanks again for your help.

Oh that may have been when it first came out with the 6.0 rules. I LL check and see if I have those rules still. I think I have all the updates over the few years.
I’ll let you know if it’s in one of them earlier versions. -

SS is correct
5 IPC tanks are from the old ruleset.
As one who used to play Germany a lot - I miss them.
