Did you play A&A before you played A&A Revised?

I played Pacific once, and then bought Axis and Allies Revised!
so, I’ve never played A&A (previous edition) -
I did.

I startet out with the pacific edition too…
but never A&A -
A&A before A&A:R for me.
I had a friend who played risk that got me into strategy gaming. One of the players in the group got me into A&A a little while later… That was about 8 years ago.

in my opinion, aa revised is way better than the origional, i dont think i could play the old one again

i agree tc revised is way better, but i’m feeling old i started playing classic about 13 years ago or so. and risk before that with dad and uncles, great game still play once in great while. pacific & europe are also good, but hard to win with the allies. i like revised because it’s the most evenly matched of all the games. the axis do have a good chance to win, and alot more games where both moscow & berlin fall.

I played original for years. The europe one a few times. Revised is a much better game.

I played the orignal for many moons. When Europe came out I found it a bit drawn out and never quite felt like I broke the game down to fundamentals like I have the orignal or revised. I have Pacific but have yet to play it.

Europe for the GER player, was the most boring time experience ever! You prayed for the pizza to arrive.
