  • @Sovietishcat I saw you attacked my Sub and used you TT for a Noncom move to Brasil.

    If you attack my Sub in sz 101 the TT no longer is able to move out bc it started it’s move on a hostile sz.

    However, you could also decide to ignore my Sub this turn and use your TT to activate Brasil.
    But you will maybe take convoy dmg.

    I will wait for your decission. Thought you were aware of that.

    @aequitas-et-veritas I move the transport on the combat phase, I can load the transport in a combat zone if it is only a sub ( it can be ignored ) and then on the non combat phase I landed the tank in Brazil.

    @aequitas-et-veritas You can see it in the ‘‘history’’ of the game if you wish, if I had left my transport in the sz 101 for the combat then you are right I would not have been allowed to move the transport afterward, but since I moved it prior to combat, it is a perfectly legal move!

    The “Sub Hack”!
    The “sub hack” only prevents US from killing the sub and THEN doing NCM.
    It means you have to choose and can’t do both!

    So by moving my sub into 101 I forced your US to choose, either to kill my Ger. Sub OR do NCM with the TTs.
    The sub does not make the sz hostile, US can choose whether it wants to.

    “Sea zones are either friendly or hostile. Friendly sea zones contain no surface warships (this doesn’t include submarines and transports) belonging to a power with which you are at war.
    Hostile sea zones contain surface warships belonging to a power with which you are at war
    (The presence of a surface warship
    belonging to an enemy power with which you are not yet at war doesn’t make a sea
    zone hostile.)” (page 8 in the rule book)

    “Whenever a transport offloads, it can’t move again that turn. If a transport retreats, it can’t offload that turn. A transport can’t offload in two territories during a single turn, nor can it offload cargo onto another transport. A transport can’t load or offload while in a hostile sea zone. Remember that hostile sea zones contain enemy units, but that for purposes of determining the status of a sea zone, submarines and transports are ignored.” (page 33)

    In our scenario you can choose that my Sub is killed, Brasil is still neutral for another Turn and 2PU’s need to be removed from US treassury.

    OR, you ignored my Sub, Brasil with 2PU is yours and my Sub is allowed to roll Convoy dmg this turn.

    @Adam514 can you please help me here, so AetV brought a sub into sz 101 on its NCM with Germany; the sz contained a dd, cruiser and a transport; so on USA turn I chose to load a tank on the transport and moved the transport to Brazil without ; unloading the transport since I cannot claim the pro-allies Brazil in combat, I attacked the sub with my 2 cruiser, dd and fighter, than on the NCM, I landed my tank into Brazil from the transport that I brought in Combat phase. Is this a legal move or a glitch from triplea? thanks.
