  • All good. As far as I know, I think the way to do it is exactly as you’ve done. Good game. That tech roll really added a new dimension. I regret not doing the same thing as the Japanese in our gamesbyemail game. I even advertise the tech strategy exactly as you employed it here in my video titled “Winning” by saying something like, "Never walk away from a game without at least trying for tech before conceding. That’s what its there for in my opinion…

    You are an exceptional opponent and I look forward to more games if you’re interested.

    Yes, thanks for following the game. A few years back I genuinely thought that no one was still interested in classic, and it’s great to have discovered that the game still has a strong following. I would challenge you to a game, but I need all my free time to beat the captain in our next war :)

    I’m completely on your page for tech rolls. They’re too luck-dependent to use in the early rounds, but they’re a great option for salvaging a losing effort. They make for some out of the box turns, too.
