    @max334 Haha I was so scared I would post accidently I turned the wifi off in the house! It was an honest round scouts honour!

    The bomber attack was always fair odds…even if we both hit I would have been happy…the armour attack was just pot luck…would be great if it worked…no biggie if it didn’t… and just bad luck for you with the cruiser…but i did have a first strike which missed.

    I looked at taking egypt…but to be sure I needed the bomber so that was out…looked at taking malta but that didnt really gain me much but am happy with how it worked out

    @max334 yeah but it could only sink the transport at gib…which was a freebie from your bomber miss…and then the italian fleet and air would sink them anyway. They couldn’t escape the med because I took gib.

    @max334 my subs moved so feel free to edit your russian sub

    The low luck change seems to benefit an attacker more…instead of having to throw 1 more land unit than the defender into the battle at all times I could afford to only send 2 inf against your 2 chinese in yunnan as with air support i could guarantee 2 hits and you could only hit once…(which you did!). Overwhelming air would make no difference in the vanilla game…if you hit with both 2’s thats just the way it is…which seems to happen a lot as each dice has the same 1 in 3 chance to hit.

    @wizmark yes, it does benefit the attacker… which, of course, is mostly the Axis in the first few rounds.
    And, you know on several occasions now, I’ve thought about my UK strategy (ie reinforcing the channel) and I feel really dumb about it. My thought, I guess, was that you placed high value on your planes and would not risk them or if you did, I would put a major dent in the Luftwaffe. That did not seem to materialize. I should have simulated that possability offline and would have seen the error in my logic. I think I hurt myself much more than I did you and I kind of left myself vulnerable to a Sea Lion. Well…live and learn, I guess

    …and also with Vichy France, I cant reach that unprotected transport with ftrs because I cant land in north africa and I pathetically lost my bomber last round. This game is going from bad to worse

    @max334 Don’ t often play with the vichy rules as I prefer a J1/J2 offensive…but the italian situation is too good to allow the pesky septics to ruin it by joining the war!

    Having the japanese loaded and ready to go gives you lots to think about as well…lots can be done by them!

    @wizmark oh, so you’re like into psychological warfare. by having them loaded you’re making me think more. You don’t want to accidentally surprise me. That’s very kind of you.
