i like europe simply bc im a german guy and pacific doesnt have em^_^ but its to short playtime being over w/in like 4-5 turns. takes longer to set up the dern board

I played a game where the guy playing Germany got consumed with Africa. This guy was an emotional player. Played againist other players not the game.

Unlimited IC? If you do that, then there is really no point in playing, the allies have an even bigger advantage. If you did, the British IC should go in Persia where no one can take it before they build. When I first started playing we didn’t read the rules carefully enough and played this way. The allies could win without the US.

Do any of you find it cheap/annoying when an allied player lands on Spain in order to establish a Western front against Germany?  This has been a common tactic of mine, and I had a gamesbyemail player call it cheap just recently.  I haven’t seen that strategy criticized before, so I’m curious if others share the opinion.

As a strategy that move is so common it has a nickname: “Spanish Harlem”. I wouldn’t call it cheap, but I can see being annoyed by it if it kept happening to me.

There’s a few ways to defend against it, but most involve either Germany taking Spain first or stacking tons of troops in France for an immediate counter-attack.

she is NOT a good actress, just a sexy one.
So i couldn’t recommend a movie to portray her acting but Desparado comes to mind (the much bigger budgetted sequal to “El Mariachi”), as does “Dusk to Dawn” (bit part - awful movie tho’), Fools Rush in, etc.

Under normal A&A with 3rd Edition Rules, I would strongly advise against this. The reason being is that subs can be sunk easily, especially by UK’s RAF the following turn. This also screw you out of 5 valuable inf that could be used elsewhere.

However, with House Rules A&A Sub-pens, Coastal Blockading, Detection Rules, and Wolf Packs, having an IC is Western Europe can certainly be well worth the risk. It adds a new dimension to the Atlantic War limited not only to the air.
