They come pre-painted and ready to rock but feel free to paint away. All expansion pieces come painted as well. Easy game to learn but made to play as a stand alone game, not recomended for the board games. Although you can use the infantry pieces.
How long Does your game Last?

I’ve been playing for a while now and we usually play with 4maps 125 pts army. They say that each games should last 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs but ours usually go for 2hrs+. I would like to know how long does your game last and how do you play them.
Already played a 250pts 6 maps game – 3hrs…

we find that our games usually last about an hour per 100 points. topping out around 400 points. at that point we tried a 600 point game and it still only lasted around 4 hours. our 100 point ‘tourney style’ games usually last about 1 to 1 1/2 hours tops.

I’ve found that past 300 points the games all run around the same amount of time. I think it might have something to do with the fact that the game starts wrapping up at turn 7 regardless… otherwise, I dunno. But the 350 and 450 point games all ran the same amount of time as the 3 hour game: 3 1/2 hours. Which was way too long. Hehhehe. Usually the standard 200 point games we play last around 2 hours, or a little bit more if there’s a rules hitch or joking around instead of playing.
