WTH…what a rookie mistake, can’t believe I did this…just gave the game away.
Frankly, I believe I would have dragged it out anyway. The Axis successfully recovered from the Java disaster. It was imo just a matter of time until the pressure would have become overwhelming in one or the other theatre. With 25+ US/UK fighters Moscow would have certainly held a while but the Luftwaffe would control all naval routes sooner or later und at one point overrun everything . If not, US would not have invested enough into the Pacific and Hawaii or Australia would have fallen.
@JDOW i was so fixated with going after that J fleet again that i let J walk into HAW, completely unaware of the threat to HAW…stupid, really stupid. not sure how to do better with Russia or press more with allies. Perhaps less early focus on ITA and africa and more on mainland europe…need to consistently play defense in asia versus offense…really disappointed…but it was a better game than the first. Do I get to play the axis now?
