Youll get the movement bonus next turn.

You dont get extra movement to reach a base.

Optional Rule 10.2 is in the non-combat section.

During non-combat, you land the aircraft that took part in combat (10.3) and can move aircraft that did not (10.1), so both options would be available.

Not really, again, there is in the RAW (ignoring the FAQ) NO, I repeat, NO limitations to Kamikazes. Did you read it? Don’t assume thing from A&A. This is a different game and some “obvious” things have changed.

@hbg-gw-enthusiast I think it should be errata’d the subject of what counts as “An aircraft on Carriers.” Imo they should say that aircraft are only “on carriers” all the time save combat movement and combat. It would solve a couple other questionable areas as well.

As per 0.5, When a submarine submerges, they are allowed to share sea zones with other vessesls. Thus submarines can not participate in combat until the next players combat phase. This means that you can non combat into zones with submerged submarines since combat can not occur.

I feel your pain and came to the same conclusion. This increases the cost of entry and therefore decreases the number of people who will play this game.

@Boardgame-Medic I’ll start by saying I am not fully versed in the V3 beta rules just yet. But, if it plays like V2 and, as you mention AA1940, your attack would not be possible in the way you mention. The aircraft themselves need to have the movement points to get there and then safely land somewhere. And of course, your planes can’t even reach SZ64 from SZ56.

I’m also pretty sure planes in SZ99 couldn’t reach either. I think that is also 5 movement points away. But again, I do not yet have the V3 map. I’m just looking at the version that can be viewed on HBG’s website. It’s quite possible the final product is a bit different, or I’m having a hard time seeing the movement!

It is a tough problem for a great game with so many infantry versions
I still haven’t committed to one idea over another yet, but for now regular infantry  and mountain infantry scuplts I like, so they get to go straight on the board.

For militia I use the white Dutch infantry sculpt because they stand out, so that no-one should ever move them out of their territory.  I then painted their base to the colour of the nation they belong to.

Not sure what to do with marines, elites, airbourne, blackshirts, volkstrum etc etc yet.

I have the flat tokens for now but we find they keep getting overlooked a lot.

If someone brings out a generic colour scheme that we can all use it would make videos easier to see whats going on.
