VA/MD/DC tournaments

the 4th “Tournament of Champions” is taking registrations now.

it is played with triplea free gaming system and uses play by email. however in the past many games have been played real time online if both opponents can meet up.

this is for the revised edition. i know its out of date but it will have the highest level of competition judging by the players that have already signed up.

1 bid sub for germany means UK navy is bye bye on G1  (and subsequently on J1.)

Germany can then without “risk” force russia into a bloodbat and Japan mopps up the left overs…

Seriously, though, Kreighund is gettin it on with those answers.

Nor does it count as a move to “take off” from a carrier to the occupied sea zone.  If the ftr is on a carrier, it can move 3 spaces maximum from the carrier, if it intends to land on the same carrier.  The carrier must then move 2 spaces toward the ftr in the non-combat move, while the ftr returns 1 space to land.  (It’s a lot easier to understand looking at the board.)

Without reinforcement, WEU falls to the Allies on Turn 2, and barring a re-direction of those massed ARM that HAD been going to Moscow being turned around and heading for Paris instead, the Allis will KEEP WEU for the remainder of the game.
