I chose not to place one of the infantry I purchased, I don’t think the game handles it correctly. So I just placed it, then edited it out and edited +3 IPCs to Britain.
Also, do you know how upgrading an IC to a major works with unit placement that turn?
Would the IC still be a minor during the mobililize new units phase of the turn in which it was upgraded?
You would still only have 3 placement capability during the turn you upgrade it
