@Mark-Rodrick Madison actually. And I could probably host at my house. I usually do global but i find that that will be an 8-10 hour event. So if we started early that would be cool. Of course I have 2 kids and have not discussed this with my wife as of yet, but I am open to it. I am pondering in my mind right now.
-
@Ben-Vincent I’ll put in for Sun. Nov. 3rd off, have had Sundays off for years but have been scheduled lately. Will know Thurs.Oct. 24th when 2 week schedule is posted! Pencil me in & to confirm the 24th! Thanks my good man!

Gibsonville is only about 1 hour away from me. What would the start time be and what game would we be playing? Global?
-
I thought maybe as an introductory game we could play a shorter version. I have the Anniversary edition and 1941 right now. I was thinking using the anniversary edition depending on how many showed up. As far as time I would say a start time of 10am. Any other suggestions welcome.

@Ben-Vincent, hey I am most defiantly down with starting a gaming group. I have been following the posts and I am having problems trying to work out my log In issues lol. I saw a post about starting off with classic. Classic is a good game but after playing global for so long I would rather play with only global. I am a strong axis player. But as far as 11/3/19 for a game I am very interested and can attend
-
@Mark-Rodrick hey mark thanks for helping to coordinate a possible NC axis and allies group I look forward to meeting you and getting this group started !
-
@Ben-Vincent hey. I have 1940 global and i can provide the game to play. If you do not have global. Just let me know, and look forward to meeting you
-
@Lionheart That would be fine with me. I only have the anniversary edition and 1941.
-
@Ben-Vincent hey great to hear from you I will bring my global game and we can use this on 11/3/19. Look forward to hearing more details about the game date

So for the 3rd Mark is coming and Lionheart. I have one possibly two coming as well as me of course. So we should be at 5 players so far. Does that sound accurate to everyone. Anyone else coming?
-
@Ben-Vincent hey hope you are all well I am planning on coming. Just need to know address and time so I can figure how long it will take to get there and back again

@Ben-Vincent Confirming, thanks my good man for the hosting & address! Game on. Any extras needed, i.e. chairs, dice, game board, hors d’oeuvres, drinks ect…, just throw it out there. My son will not be attending.
-
@Lionheart Let’s not forget the time change Sun. 11-3 @ 2am, 1 hour turn back!

@Mark-Rodrick Thanks for reminding me. It will be BYOB and whatever your snack of choice. I figured we could order out for lunch. Possibly pizza or something like that.

Are you gents still looking for players? I live in Virginia, willing to travel periodically. I usually play Global 40, Global 42, and 1914 with some house rules that really enhance that version. Best way to reach me is at my email, jonkrost@comcast.net
