Just donated 25 USD to TripleA.
The Captain
@barnee Thanks! I’ve got the program, but since the HDD in my last XP machine went bad, all I have left is win 7 and win 10 computers (never had win 8), and although the game will load, whenever a battle screen starts to load, it increases in size one slow step at a time, instead of instantly, and that makes the game unplayable.:confounded:
Any ideas what might be causing this? Or where I should be reporting this to get help?
@CrazyIvan Hi. Our forum colleague Panther is very helpful on such matters. I see that he has posted a link for help on such matters, though, and suggest you use that. Here is his forum post with the link:

@Private-Panic Much obliged, and thanks!
Panther said he was gonna b busy for a while so you might wanna ask Roiex or redrum over at the triplea site.

One thing to try is use java 8 201 if you aren’t already as triplea doesn’t like the new javas that well, although I think they’ll work on the next update.
Also in your triplea folder there is something called vmoptions. Sometimes changing that effects thing. I don’t really know if it’d have anything to do with your problem or not though : ) Just a couple things I’ve seen them suggest before.

@CrazyIvan I have moved your issue to the TripleA support forum.
What system do you have TripleA running on? How much RAM does it have? Which Java version do you have installed? Are you using TripleA 1.9.0.0.13066?
Sorry to not have gotten back too you folks sooner, but I got rid of the A&A program that was giving me fits, and got the new one from here, and that one works well…
@CrazyIvan Great. Now enjoy gaming. In case you experience any issues or need help, just ask. :slightly_smiling_face:
@Panther I will do so! And thanks for the help.
One of my first questions will be the way this site separates threads, and how to both search for and post in the correct places! I started responding to the youtube videos that I found, but most of them seem not to be of great quality, leave things out, or have mistakes. Will a youtube video of this site’s layout be a good thing? For the TripleA game itself, I’m going to have too play many more hours to even be able to have an opinion, but I will post a couple of videos of mistakes that I made in my first attempts.
You are welcome :slightly_smiling_face:

Basically this site is structured in different categories and subcategories. For example categories on special games, where we discuss the games with their OOB rules and strategies. House Rules are regularly discussed in Customization/House Rules. Playing online has its categories, TripleA has an own support forum and so on…
So topics go to their respective category.
