    Well, this has been an interesting game so far. I am not sure but it may have been better for you to stand and fight in Egypt, rather than retreat to Sudan. It would have kept the Suez Canal out of German hands for their turn. Interesting choices coming up for Russia and Japan.

    I leave tomorrow for a 12 day vacation out of the country. I will have internet, but my laptop doesn’t post moves properly, so this is my last move for a couple of weeks.

    I overlooked the Italian can opener. I knew Italy couldn’t blitz thru Egypt or go thru Suez Canal. But I wasn’t thinking about Germany going thru. It wasn’t the usual location in Russia. If I had noticed, I would have pulled further back and saved the 9 planes and 2 mobile units, and maybe left the slow units to fight it out in Egypt. That would have given me a fighting chance and I could have sunk 5 transports in 2 locations, and saved 2 U.K. transports. Just when Russia was having some fun and will take Vietnam and Malaya; and the Allies will be taking back DEI Islands.

    Darn that Italian air base just built in Egypt. The ANZ bomber in India was going to sink the 2 German transports. Had to settle for sinking the Japanese transport in sz36. Well, the U.S. has settled into Java, complete with the Japanese built air base. Thanks.

    The AB was supposed to be built the previous turn (in Trans-Jordan), and then I decided to skip it because I had intended to kill off the British Bomber with my bombers. But, then I decided to concentrate my attack on Sudan with all my forces in order to have more Tanks left after the battle and not to lose Bombers, I forgot to put the AB back in. So that cost me the 3 Transports you sank.

    I know that I can’t win this game, but I wanted to see if the Allies could take Finland and Norway while holding Moscow for a while. Germany has so much income and major factories, that it already has a 26-unit army in Baltic. More than I expected. I might have stayed and defended Volg, but the planes in Ukraine and bombers in Greece can reach, so it wasn’t worth it. So on to Norway.
