    I did the combat move on a computer at another location and then on my normal computer when I got home. Both have been updated to 1900.13066, but its possible that the game launcher on the other computer may not have the latest map or game version. The Americans in Tobruk outfought the Italians earlier. By all rights, the Italians should have eliminated the U.S. in Tobruk, allowing Germ to take out the U.S. in Tunisia. That would have eliminated your mobile units in N. Africa. Likewise, Germ/Italy have been keeping the Allies out of helping Russia.

    @FMErwinRommel phew…your rolling in the carolines cost me a packet…but offset against that was the last japanese tt taken off the board and a couple of tt’s in the med… and with a new factory in iraq I feel italian egypt has a limited life span.
    Your sub in sz 80 was incredibly effective… cost me IPC’s in convoying, stopping russian lend lease, and taking the UK pac NO away

    Sweet Caroline (Neil Diamond). Was it worth the cost? I don’t have to worry about loaded transports or big bomber attacks in mid-Pacific. As to the sub in sz80, you skimped on destroyers everywhere and on subs (except ANZ). It got you quick impact with the bomber builds, but it caught up with you. That one sub was very effective. Destroyers are the work horses of the navy in Triplea. Japan can’t afford new transports. Have to rebuild my fleet first. But that will be a long, slow process, given my limited income compared to my combined enemies.

    @FMErwinRommel It takes a while for the allied fleets to get secure enough everywhere to stop those pesky axis subs. But I’m getting there. Carolines are the key to the pacific so having them is worth some losses. Hopefully I can push the last few japanese ships out and start doing real damage!
