1942.2 with the LH Balance patch in play, what is now a usual bid to play Allies.

  • This question is more for people who have played a fair amount of 1942 2nd, with LH balance patch for tournaments. I know prior to the LH balance patch the bid was around 24 to play Allies. I understand it to be more in the region of 7 to 12 to play allies now.

My second part to the question is, what would you spend the bid IPC on, and where would you place it? I’m trying to gauge a possible standardized starting setup, based on peoples answers to what they see as a fit bid, and then what they buy, and where they place it.

    thanks in Advance.

    2 tanks in India (12)

I’m still not convinced this can stop the three turn capture of India. But 4 infantry might push it to turn 4.

Yes 2 tanks might not be enough…I find it is important for Russia to have some tanks as well so when necessary, it can run to India for temporary support. Just UK and US planes alone are not enough to support India at first few rounds.
