    would you care to debrief? my strategy is to make Germany cry and experiment with how big I could let Japanese balloon expand? my biggest mistake was the air attack on Berlin that eliminated your mechs, but because of your sub, I couldn’t land my Brits to take it. That delayed the game ending 3 rounds.

    I thought your first couple of rounds as Japan were extremely strong. And your capture of the middle east made me rethink my Egypt strategy. you can see my updated approach in the Allied playbook game.


  • Yeah I did start out strong as Japan, my mistake was not getting ready to invade Hawaii earlier. If I was more prepared for that, I likely could have held on to enough cities in the pacific and would have won. Once you reinforced Hawaii though, the game was over. My Germany strategy was pretty default, not executed the best, and ultimately I could not knock Russia out, even though I came close. You played the UK very well with helping Russia and holding the middle east, for a time. And Scandinavia was just a huge blunder, there are too many resources up there for Germany to lose, not only the National Objective, but Russia’s National objective, huge IPC shift for whoever holds Finland and Norway.
