    dawg,

    I looked at the file and suggest you take another crack at the first round. The European moves were good, however you did not move at all any submarine, and you have half a dozen or more in the Atlantic, you have a factory in Africa, and a factory in New Guinea with a navy (and 2 naval units west of South America).

    As a tip, during combat movement you can hit the “N” key, and it will cycle through every unit that still has movement points left. (works in NCM too). That way it will prompt you with: Hey! What about this sub over here?

    There are other purchasing considerations too about if you want to spend money in Africa or the Pacific. You can get the upper hand in the Pacific if the UK ignores Australia, which can be distracting for the US.

    Africa has a solid chance to be a thorn the Allied side as well. You can outdeploy the UK in South Africa, and could draw troops from India to Africa, which relieves pressure from Turkey.

    There’s also a few random units in South Easter Africa. While they’ll usually die, they can at least take another 1-4 ICs for you in round 1.

    Just do the whole thing over. And seeing as how you had -2 on the dice, this will be a good thing. ;)


  • @Whackamatt no crap!!! does this “N” key work with all games? i did say this was my first time playing the axis Lol. hey thanks for the advice. how long has this “N” key been around. i all ways thought this game could use something like that, Lol.


  • @dawgoneit It’s been around a while. I’ve mentioned in the past on some group threads. Figured you’d find it useful.

    I believe it works for every game mode. So it works in World at War, WWI, Global, and Napoleonic.
