@panther right on . I’m glad it’s working ok for others. The switch from firefox to Brave and the ubuntu update only thing I can think of that changed on my end.

Hi, I am currently in a game with JWW where a couple times now dice have not been rolled for units in a battle. It occurred just now in the Germany 27 turn battle over London where 2 defending fighters just didn’t participate in the fight. A similar event happened on USA 11 where planes brought on the attack didn’t participate. I’m not exactly sure what is going on, but thought I should report it. Thanks!
@BobbaRossa just looked at the turn 27 battle and you have 7 ftrs and 15 inf defending and it rolled 22 times, which would be correct.
@barnee Hey Barnee! Thanks for the reply. Yeah, that’s the problem. There were 9 defending fighters in London. 3 UK and 6 US (reference the “British defend with…” line in your screenshot). But only 7 were rolled for.

@BobbaRossa What version of TripleA are you using to play the game? There has been a few fixes to address very similar issues to this in recent versions.

@BobbaRossa Hmm. Do you know if your opponent is using that version as well? And have you both used that version throughout the entire save game?
@redrum No, I don’t know what version he is using. We both have definitely changed versions during the game, though. Had to due to the forum update.
@BobbaRossa Ok. In that case, I’m about 95% sure that the bug you hit has already been fixed in 126.96.36.199.13066 but unfortunately if you started your game with an earlier version of TripleA the bug is part of the save game data so upgrading to the new version doesn’t resolve it (essentially the engine thinks the fighters are still on an allied carrier during an attack so it ignores them for battles).
To fix your current save game, you just need to edit out any air units which aren’t fighting properly in battles and add new ones in their place. If you edit remove/add all fighters on the map then you can ensure it shouldn’t occur again.
If you see this same issue in a new game started with 188.8.131.52.13066 then let please report it again and I’ll look further into it.
