    I’m thinking of doing a move which I think is technically allowed but which also might break the spirit of the rules. This was done to me once and I want to double check that its allowed. I would send a Japanese fighter to hit the transports in 52 and send a sub to 54 to create a battle in a zone where I would need to move a carrier for the fighter to land. Since the sub will die, I won’t have to move the carrier there (and it can move anywhere else) and the fighter will crash into the sea. The TUV slightly favours you if I do this (14-16) so I may still decide against it but I think the use of hitting the transports compensates.

    I thought I would check first, since it would be a pain to fix after if I am wrong.

  • @oysteilo Given the TUV exchange it might have been a mistake, but I figured a turn free of ANZAC transports was probably worth it.

    As much as I feel I have an edge here, I struggle a bit with figuring out what to do with Japan in these situations. It feels to me that any wrong move and I give you either Japan or the money islands. And I feel I’m trading too many blockers but also don’t think I can avoid it.
