    Apparently, you changed your plans when you saw that the Ger could successfully counterattack Norway even if the allies landed all 18 ground troops. The Germans were great at counterattacks. Which made Hitler’s stand and fight orders so bad. So your invasion fleet moved north and will be able to attack all along the north coast including Leningrad, and have air support. So I am at a loss as to how to counter your potential moves.

    Just like the prior time the Brit DD sank the Jpn sub, the sub rolled 1 and took the DD down with it. But, as usual, the Axis AA missed and the Brit bomber gave max damage. Wish the AA had hit and the sub missed, to spare me repair, as I had backup sub and ftrs to counterattack the DD. I thought of putting max troops and several planes in Finland. But didn’t want to risk my planes or have you put your troops elsewhere.

    The Axis being only 10 P.U.s less than the Allies will likely be the high water mark. Its been around 20 P.U. below and no big breakthroughs will improve the Axis income. The gradual income advantage of the Allies will doom the Axis. This game is somewhat like our team game, where Japan is strong and the Euro Axis are weak. Japan is still not going for the Pacific win, because of the U.S. planes. But unlike the team game, Japan is buying defensively in India/Mideast, building DDs/subs, and more aggressively skirmishing the Russian border. Can you believe that Japan suddenly has ten planes in Europe, supporting Axis positions.

    Oops, Ger forgot to build for and place new troops in Novg. They would have been doomed anyway, but I should have made it harder for Brit. You have some tough decisions as to what to attack and how to split the allied fleet, as the Ger still have 8 planes that can reach and now Jpn also has 8 planes. So many possible twists and turns.
