If your opponent is buying DD’s with the USA it is unlikely you are playing 2nd edition. You should post on the correct forum to make sure you are receiving the best advice.
Yes, I tried setting the volume to the lowest setting, but that did not solve the devilry. I have, however, noticed that the games runs at acceptable speeds in single player mode. It’s only in multiplayer that it takes a big shit. Whether I host or just join does not affect that. It is bogged down regardless.

My prediction is if the Axis player knows what he is doing he should have won. In the early part of the game the Axis can win. If the game goes on a long time then the Allies will win.

I kinda thought thats how it would play out. But I do think that Agent orange makes a good point. Then again I suppose I guess it depends on what you are looking for in a game.
