WW1 Red Fokker Dr1 takes to the skies

Four weeks and counting. My brother says he will take over, but he has his children on Monday and Tuesdays. Opening just four days will not leave me much to buy A&A games!
Kind of him to offer.

It’s criminal negligence if you leave drugs or car keys out and somebody gets hurt.  If you leave a firearm out its a different matter.  Why?  Hint Hint……The NRA will not go to bat for your misplaced keys or drugs…

Of course we can never forget “One Eye” Saburo Sakai. He managed to go up against the best-trained pilots of all time and survive. Outnumbered and outgunned by Wildcats, Hellcats, and Corsairs, he still managed to rack 64 kills (though the Japanese military did not credit individual pilots with victory claims). Plus, Sakai was a man of character.

With a population smaller than U.K., U.S., China, and Russia, how could Canada have the 2nd largest army?

seems that ww1 was a real mess… like everyone was mad at each other, just to blow steam off. Crazy war.

No matter what kind of battle, it is the ordinary people who suffered a lot.

I remember reading about a balloonist in the 80’s who was trying to circumnavigate the world.

He crossed into soviet airspace over Romania accidentally and was shot down.

But that wasn’t the best part lol… the pilots who shot him down recieved medals for “bravery in the face of extreme danger”

Well Garg, those pilots WERE flying Soviet aircraft. Pretty brave if you ask me.

I find, on average, that pacific is longer than europe. Why? Well if japan is winning its a 6 or 7 turn game. But if Japan is losing the game can last 10 turns. Europe mostly is a 7 turn game no matter who wins.
