    Thanks for the game, and sorry to hear about the losses but I’m sure things will turn around.

    And well played as well. There were points earlier where this could have easily turned your way and you very effectively contained Italy and protected Moscow. Apart from the attack on the Italian fleet in 97, I also think I had quite a bit of dice luck when I needed it which may have made the difference as well. Even so, I did think you had a chance to win earlier but perhaps played a bit too cautiously?

    Once you wiped out the Italian fleet and grabbed Greece, I wonder if you might have done better if you pulled much of that fleet around to threaten India. Given the land units in Persia, air in the Mediterranean, and the number of transports, I think it might have become very hard for me to hold India, keep you out of the money islands, and also take Australia. That would have eased the pressure on me in Europe but it would take a while for Italy to recover and Moscow was quite safe at that point.

    In the USSR, I think you also might have played more defensive than you needed to.There were a couple of times where you retreated to Moscow when I think it was fairly safe and you could keep your stacks adjacent to Moscow if I tried to sneak around. Had you done so, I think you might have pushed me out of Ukraine, Volgograd and Caucasus sooner. I also got quite lucky that I had just enough to give me the odds in  Leningrad when you started moving West.
