I resign. Lost 3 planes…whereas when you cleared blockers with planes with I think it was no defense hits against planes. If Japan had a good turn here, I would have been able to push the Allied Navy back. Maybe still could, but these dice results just convinced me it’s time to hang up the towel on this game. All I’d be doing is stalling on a lost game.

Russia is stronger than Germany.
Italy taking Cairo is apparantly not very important in BM3 it seems. I should not have bought an IC with Germany. At the time I bought it, I didn’t know that you were going to pretty much evacuate it. I though Germany was going to have to spend money to help get Cairo.
In Global 40, Cairo is much more important. I should have sent Italian can openers like I normally do. Again, I thought Italy was going to have to be all in to get Cairo because in Global 40, Cairo is usually much harder to capture since it’s more vital for the UK. Oh well.

Oh wow, that came earlier than expected! Well thank you for playing! I enjoyed the game.
The dice that last turn were indeed pretty harsh for Japan. I did lose 2 planes while clearing blockers, but that was in a lot of clearings, so that seems about right (although that happend before the last UK/US turn). I think the Allied Navy will still have to retreat for now, but whether you lose planes or not, it’s going to get reinforced so fast that Japan probably can’t keep up… But given Germany and Italy’s current income I’d have expected you to play on for a bit and see if you could pressure Russia enough to get something going in Europe (and perhaps take the pressure off Japan).
Losing both bombers indeed is a harsh blow for Japan.I think that a German IC in Yugo is always a bad idea, if you want to produce in the mediterranean with Germany, you’re better of taking Southern France… And you can always load a couple of infantry on Italian transports to ship em over. No help for Germany from Italy in Russia makes it quite slow going in, combined with the turn 2/3 split of your Ger stack that forced you to take an extra turn before moving into Russia, it’s hard to get income from Russian territories fast enough…
