Caesar’s Gaul (allies +20) beat variance

Of interest, I ran these two games through my own hit parser program (TripleA can’t check old games). In theory both players should be 0,0 in a perfect statistical games of how many hits they got, vs received.
Both games Variance was axis and Caesar allies.
Game 1 Axis 10, Allies 8, so overall both players were slightly above average for hits, and the total hit handicap was just +2
Variance came home with the W.
Game 2 Axis was -21 and Allies -2, overall both players being unlucky, but V getting the rawest deal. -19 hits, meant 19 extra allied units on the board. Enough for Caesar to muscle out the W! :)
Now Caesar knows that with just a little luck, he’s a solid T1 opponent, and as he gets more xp his game will be improving :)
