It’s a small-medium sized map. Street fighting (no vehicles). The Axis defend 4 points, with the first 2 (bridge crossings in parallel - pretty cool) being uncappable once the Russkies take them. The last two are staggered in position, and can be captured & recaptured by either team. High intensity game.

Seems to run a bit better as well, but that’s all I saw for now. Going to try to get a game with the Russian APC!

Anyway, it plays pretty well, but can be a hard adjustment. It really makes you stop and think about what you are doing. You’ve got to take advantage of cover, try to fire from a stationary position, and work as a team to eliminate threats. The vehicles are probably the most realistic modelled I’ve ever seen. You really feel like you could climb into a real one and take off. The weapons are fantastic as well, and seem to fire somewhat like their authentic counterparts. My main critique here is that SMGs don’t fire nearly as accurate on the move at close range as they should (sometimes I completely miss people firing from the hip at 10-20 feet range, which is just stupid). Other than that, there is no zoom unless you have a scope or binocs, so you’ve got to really work on your aim. The maps are splendid, and offer good variety. Some are infantry only, some are tank/vehicle heavy (with a bit of infantry), and one of my favorites has almost all infantry except 1 tank and 1 transport for each side on a medium sized map. My biggest complaint about this game is how the infantry models move. In a game touting realism, the men move like they are made of silly putty. In fact, I couldn’t hop over a 2 foot fence, which is ridiculous.

It’s not Call of Duty fast paced action, but it’s a good realistic alternative that’s fun to play.
