Just bought this game by Sean Michael Inc. What a fun game!! Some of the rules needed a bit of clarifying and we made some assumptions. We also had to take a sharpie marker to some of the borders on the map to distinguish. We played about 10 of these in a row. Much more dynamic than D-Day or any of the other tactical games. We enjoyed the short setup time and ease of play. Highly recommended. If you own any A&A set you won’t need the pieces.
Questions about Battle Cry and Squad Leader
-
I just got a whole bunch of old games including Battle Cry, Squad Leader, the Arab-Israeli Wars, the Rise and Decline of the Third Riech, and several others for my birthday and I had a couple questions.
First off: In Battle Cry if I have a unit (let’s say Cavalry) on the right flank and I have a card that allows me to move it, am I allowed to move it to the center?
Second: Is there a place where I can print out the rules for squad leader? Thanks in advance.

Benito Mussolini, I can answer the battle cry question.
Yes, you can only move units that pertain to the right flank, since that is the card you have, bit it doesn’t prevent you from moving a unit, from the right flank to the center.
I hope that helps…
If you want a quick strategy war game, it is among the best.
It is usually takes an average of 45 minutes to an hour.
Sometimes quicker or longer, depending on the scenario and your luck.
Cheers! :-)
