    Might be a short game anyway. With god as my witness I thought attacking UK would only activate ANZAC. I guess I’ll just chalk it up to experience and remember that for next time.

    Deciding when to attack with the Japanese is tricky. There are big implications for the broader board in doing so. If Japan does not get their income up and Anzac / UK Pacific / China down, they get crushed.

    My strategy of making the Russian stack more potent with artillery has worked well in the last few games. It really seems to throw Japan off track.

    I’ll still post your win on the league board, but there’s just no way I can come back from this. Not only is Japan completely screwed, but I allocated my entire 1st round in Germany and Italy assuming that the States were’t going to be in it for a while.

    It was a dumb rookie mistake, I know, but I’d really rather not spend the next day or two just trying to minimize the beating and knowing it’s hopeless.

    I agree that the situation of Japan could hardly be more difficult. It will be completely neutralized as a threat in round 4 and Germany and Italy are getting nowhere.
