Where in Central Florida??  I live in Tampa and, being retired, might be willing to travel once a month if the distance wasn’t too far.  I play AA50, AA42, AAP40, AAE40, and AAG40 (Delta +1).  I currently play once a month with a group in the Sarasota/Bradenton area.  Three years experience.

I have an experimental A&A online variant that uses a simultaneous play style inspired by the game Diplomacy.  I am looking for players to help me play-test it and provide feedback.  I intend to play it in a play-by-mail style, with each player keeping a personal board handy using miniatures.  The online game keeps track of all the game state, including unit positions and movements, so using a board at all is optional.  The user interface includes a crude map with units displayed.  I intend to make a more sophisticated interactive interface, but I need some real play-testing to know where to go with that.  If you are interested, please read the docs here:

We’ve got a core group of five guys that normally play in Flanders with a few more sometimes-y people. 90% of the time we’re at a game store called “The Outpost” in Gent that’s often full of smelly nerds, but the beer is cheap and there’s plenty of space. We start at 12:30pm sharp, and end, at the extreme earliest, at 9pm. The next two games are August 8th and August 23rd, so if you’re in the area and interested, let me know.

I actually live closer to Antwerp, so if you’re already part of a group in either city, I’d love to hear about it as well!

The version we play is A&A 1940 (either european or global, depending on the number of players and time constraints), though I also have access to 1942. I’ve played just about every other version there is as well.
