    Hmmmm!  That means that government gets about $0.46 cents per gallon of gas that you buy.  That means the taxes are four and one half times the profit.

    If the congress requests that oil companies give half their profits to the Katrina Fixit Funds
    OIl companies should ask congress and the states to give one-third of their taxs to the Katrina Fixit Funds…
    and settle for one-quarter!  That’d pay for everything I bet.
