For Revised, Enhanced rules modified the tech to be less random
See this thread for the discussion os using the AARe concept in AA50:
Does anyone have an alternate research rule that they have used? I couldn’t find any that encompassed new way of doing research and more tech developments.
I’ve been playing around with an idea that uses the same system that was in AA50, and 4 research tree’s one each for army, navy, air force, and national. With all the different tech’s a single nation can get up to 4 per turn. As well I started to use a Research Facility unit. This facility gives research tokens every turn to help speed up the research process.
