Yeah it would be good to update or remove this post now. It would be good to review all the stickied posts in the software subforum.
Unstickied today, I am about to create a new thread collecting the latest relevant links.
I’m considering picking up a Chromebook. Has anyone gotten TripleA to work on a Chromebook?

You cannot run TripleA on a Chromebook when using only ChromeOS, because there is no Java Runtime Environment (JRE) available, that is necessary to run TripleA.
You can of course install a second OS (there are some Linux derivates available for Chromebooks) next to Chrome OS.
You can install JRE then and use TripleA. Just google for example “chrubuntu” for details.
It’s been some time since this question has been asked, but I just want to mention another workaround for people interested in this topic.
With “Chrome Remote Desktop” users can remotly access another computer through a Chromebook.
So if you keep for example a Windows computer with Java and TripleA running at home
you will be able to access it and play TripleA using your Chromebook when travelling.
