I compounded my error of blundering into the death zone otherwise known as SZ 54 with a careless clerical error. I suspect that only real hope for the Allies was to scramble three ANZAC fighters and hope that Marti would be kind, either salvaging the transports or at least a pyrrhic victory for the Japanese. Let me see if there is any realistic way to recover from my follies. If not, I would rather move on to a rematch, if you okay with you. Really busy today, so I am not sure I will have a chance to review the situation until tomorrow.</p>

<p dir="auto">If you want I’ll let you trade that fighter for 2 hits, basically 4x 3 rounds or 12 = 2 hits.</p>
<p dir="auto">Other than this battle, you hit on basically all but 1 attrition roll that turn.</p>

I don’t know how I wrote in 2 fighters; my intent was “scramble fighters.”</p>
