    There is indeed quite bad payoff for bombing raids! The risk/reward ratio is really not that favorable…


  • Bombers cost 12. 1/6 chance of downing it, meaning everytime you bomb you lose 2ipc. You do on average 3.5 ipc in damage, so 3.5-2.0 = 1.5ipc per bombing.

    It’s worth it mathematically, but sometimes the reward is not worth the risk. That being said this is like the first bomber I get on Russia so you’re in your money!

    F*ck! I never thought of your fighters in russia. They couldn’t reach SZ60 unless you had the carriers there. And of course the fighters ON your carriers can land in Soviet instead… I completely overlooked that castle move. This is the deciding mistake that will cost me this battle, and the war overall. Especially when you got killer dices on top on that. Well played sir.

    Anyways, let’s play this till the very end. Remove the subs, the destroyers and a carrier.


  • A&A is often decided by one mistake, like Germany not seeing a double whammy UK-US, or not protecting it enough, etc. I’ve lost many games that way in round 4-5 like that. Anyways. Good luck on the dice,
