    Thank you  :-D  The British BB attack seems to hurt me at the end, which also seems to answer your question - it’s not mandatory to do such attack…


  • I’d have to calculate the odds on that attack if the russian sub moves there (why wouldn’t he???) because if you do succeed in the attack it sets the UK back one entire turn (20 ipc + 7 for the transport).

    4+3+2 (9 attack) 3 hits vs 1 + 4 (5 defense)(3 hits), likely the perecentage is around 75-80ish. Plus the defending sub cannot hit airplanes.
