Back to the OP. One other point I’m coming to see is devastating is to land 4 ground units on Kwangsi J1. These units really make a big difference in being able to hold on to Yunnan. While you can’t get the TTs back to Japan J2 unless you combine a Naval base on Hainan or Kwangsi, the main game in Asia isn’t to get Japanese land units on Asia but to deny the Burma Rd. If you can do that, your one step on the way to Axis victory in the Pacific. One of the land units can come from Okinawa, two from Japan so you are only relocating one unit within Asia, the artillery from Manchuria, but in a very advantageous way.
Where 2 buy Axis/Allies stuff?
Hey my group has put me on a quest, to find all the units, markers, tokens, dicetower and some other stuff we need! Where can I get it ? Been looking around and the best place ive found so far is www.historicalgaming.com ! Any1 know a better site ?
And what bout naval and airbases, posible to get them in plastic ?
Live in Denmark btw…
Hi. I live in England and would be wary of buying from the US(not sure if Canada is te same).
HBG are an excellent company and I did buy a German set from them.
I say beware as I was charged £20 for Import Taxes when I bought 1941 from Cool Stuff. This made the game twice as expensive. I shall never do again.
Make sure you know the Tax implications before buying is all I can say. If your group are not bothered, then use HBG; they are a reputable and much loved company on this site.
Good luck and please report back with your story.
By the way, HBG has a franchise in Germany now. I don’t know their inventory, but perhaps you won’t get the high shipping and tax charges there.
Had no idea. Thank you Knp.
Any idea how to find it on the net?
Try this link:
Well I Never! Will have to try it out.
How did you find out about this?
On the HBG site, over on the right side margins, one of the little advertisement squares says “HBG In Germany” or something to that effect. I remember them making a fuss about it some months back when he first opened the German franchise.
If I’m not mistaken, I think Coach has a special shipping arrangement with his store in Germany so it doesn’t cost so dang much. I am guessing that whatever is available here will also be available there, it will just take a little longer to get to you.

maybe you can find adequate stuff here:
i live in europe as well and once i ordered some chips only…cost less then 50 $. there had been no harassment like special taxes etc. i think for small pieces like tokens you won´t have to pay any tax.
