  • SBRs are a crap shoot, and especially with air battles there is a huge potential for large swings of fortune


  • I always get nervous in the big air battles. Had a 11 vs 10(me) in one game where I intercepted and lost 4 fighters and my opponent was completely unscathed (including aa on the 3 bombers)

    Pretty sure I moaned about that already, in one of my current games I had a very doable SL before me, came in with all guns blazing in G2 to prepare…and lost 4/5 to AA guns. Instead of, likely, London, I had a pretty dented Luftwaffe and nothing to show for it after two German rounds. No question this is extremely unlikely and many times nothing happens when doing things like that, but it totally changed the game, at least how I perceived it to be and to evolve.
