@midnight_reaper that’s a cool idea and I might have to try it. However I don’t like the idea of getting advancements for free, which is why I like some sort of facility to buy. Since the G40 R&D board seems to have the better advances on one side I’d say you have to roll a 1-4 to get the 1 column, and 5-6 to get the second. Maybe even through in an added cost to get 1-3 & 4-6. But again with that, I think countries should have to build the facilities in their capitol instead of anywhere and starting with them.
Vichy France rules

Here is an idea about A Vichy France rule. When Paris was taken by Germany during WWII, Most of France joined the Vichy regime. François Darlan and the navy remained under Vichy along with many colonies. Normandy-Bordeaux and Paris was German territories and southern France the Vichy capital.
French Indochina was lost for the Vichy early in the war along with French equatorial Africa and Syria.Morocco, Algeria,Tunisia, French west Africa, French central Africa, some part of French equatorial Africa, French Guyana and Madagascar remained more or less under Vichy control. But all joined Free France during the war except for the northern Africa countries that remained under Vichy until the allied invasion.
How about when Paris is taken Normandy-Bordeaux, Southern France, the navy in Mediterranean and the french force in North Africa joined the Nazis, but half of the units in France is moved to UK represents Free French forces who fled and the rest of the French territories in Africa and around the world remains unde Free French control. It would have to be considered an alternate-history scenario. The French Navy and the French colonial forces never joined the Nazis, and the number of French forces who crossed the Channel from France to England to form the Free French was nowhere near large enough to represent half of France’s military units.
On the other hand, it’s perfectly accurate to have some of France’s colonial territories go over to the Free French side soon after France is occupied becauset that’s what happened in reality.
