I’m trying to play this turn and have come to the conclusion that I’m boned, I concede, good game I’m definately not used to the later attack by the axis it can be very powerful.

Thanks snake - you kicked my butt pretty good with the lightning war when you were the Axis… and I have a hard time with that :-D
If you face the G4/J4 again, my advice is this - set up the UK in the middle of the board as much as possible, with an IC in Persia or Iraq, and churn out infantry. It allows the Allies to get into the Caucasus in force just as Germany is either knocking off Russia or pushing Russia out of Moscow.
Secondly - facing my style of Japanese play begs for a transport/infantry/artillery every round in the Pacific for the US… then you build around that. The reason is that the allies have to keep contending with Japan over the DEI. If you want to see someone who plays the G4/J4 very well, check out Infrastructure in his allied game against me. He cracked the DEI fairly early (J6 or 7?) against me, and my Pacific map went backwards after that. He still couldn’t stop me on the Europe board :-), but the game is too close to call.
You’re an excellent opponent… if you had been the Axis, I think you’d have won this one.
