Well, if I get attacked in AZO, life is GUNNA suck.  I was figuring I could land those fighters, but I guess not.  Anyway, I doubt he’ll attack, he’s got a great chance to do serious damage to the Allies’ shipping fleet, but at the cost of the entire Japanese navy and almost the entire Japanese air force.

I’ll download those rules, would be good to have on file anyway, even if I only play one game in a million in classic anymore! ^_^

In games where the Axis is given a bid the Russians can begin to be in trouble by turn 5 or 6. This is because its usually at point that the Germans have enough quantity of troops on the ground to begin a walkthrough the Cauc strategy via Ukr in order to back Russia out of Karelia. If they can do this and have Japan at the same time take and hold Novo then its lights out for Russia sooner or later. The best tactic is to strafe Moscow with the Germans and then finish them off with the Japs.

USA should help but it is not a priority usa does this by sendig its eastern fighter to the most western part of africa it can also send its bomber but that would be unwise (you can probrbly geuse why) :lol:

I was at a local gaming convention. This guy had a large, 6x3, Axis and Allies board. He said it was home made, but wouldn’t tell me how to make it unless I went to another convention a few months later, much farther away. I couldn’t go to that convention for various reasons, so I never found out. This board looked just like the one that comes with Axis and Allies. Does anyone know how to make one? Is there a site I can go to with instructions? I thank you all for any help that is given!

I also like Zero’s approach. The Americans usually end up reinforcing the British in the south, while the Brits and Yanks drop infantry into Karelia (if indeed, the allies are strong there). This gives the Russians a chance to move some stuff east.

Oh, and what’s with up with all the Patton quotes? I seems like a lot of people I meet nowadays has them. Better not be left out…
