  • By the way, you cannot blitz thru a friendly neutral territory.  Blitzing can only be done in combat move phase and activating friendly neutrals can only be done as a noncombat move because.  So the Russians have to stop at Northwest Persia, then take Persia R2, then attack Iraq R3.  I know it sucks but it is a rule.  I will edit it at the end of japan’s turn.

    Argh, no point in making that buy in Caucaus then (never faced this situation before). Can you simply remove the mech / tank from the board and put 2 infantry + 1 artillery in Smolensk (Placed originally in Archangel), moved down to Smolensk during non combat move?

  • OK I can do that.  The tank/mech build was really not a bad idea though.  A fella could send them and 2 infantry from Caucasus into Northwest Persia the take Iraq R2.  I think you’re probably better off with the 3 units in Smolensk though.

  • OK the map is attached.  I accidentally clicked “done” instead of “post turn summary” so when you open it you will find yourself at the start of USA’s turn right after the politics thing.  You don’t need that anyway because all the axis powers are at war with you anyway!

    If you want to review Japan’s turn (or any previous turn), choose “show history” in the “Game” menu at the upper left.  When you are done choose “show current game”.  Its actually pretty cool becasue you can get a TripleA file for a game that is at like round 20 or whatever and go back and see every move from the beginning.

    Sounds good. The USA turn will come no earlier than tomorrow evening.

    Generally, how flexible can we be on the timing? My availability is a lot greater on weekends than during the week.


  • No owrries about timing.  I tend to be pretty quick because I am often with a computer at work and I tend to not like to work.  At home I watch TV on a computer so I check often and find it fun to throw out a quick move whenever.  but I dont expect anyone else to be as lazy and computerized as I am, so if you have days between moves that’s fine.
