Well Mike, I have some BAD news for you.

The Kamikazes can’t target the sub, the planes, or the transports… so you’ve got to make your selections.

Your best bet, is probably to spread your targets… and put extra effort on the destroyers if you have it…

Of course… I have a sub of my own, and an Aircraft carrier to soak hits…

with the spread including the battleship, if you roll 100% hits. We will be left with 1 acc 1 fgt 1 tac 1 sub, attacking 2 dst 1 sub.
Your only hope would then be to roll 100% hits on your defense as well. Then it’s possible, that if I don’t hit with the sub, that you could survive for another round, and we could get down to sub on sub.

Also, I’m waiting on a ruling to see if I’m allowed to land American planes in Soviet russia. Of course, if I am, I would bring in a bomber and extra planes. But I’m pretty confident this is going to work out for America…

Well - I yield the game to you then - to be honest, it was a mistake on my part in that I did not realize that the US could declare war on Japan after I attacked the UK. I thought the US could only declare war at the end of turn 3 - again - my not knowning the rules there. I would have placed some men in japan - or taken them from the mainland via transport and left some on Japan.
But live and learn…we can play again sometime if you’d like
