<p dir="auto">Scrambling in SZ111 against the smaller German force is more of a toss up.  My intention with this open is actually to fight one round and then retreat the damaged battleship.  Since I rolled so crazy high, I didn’t have the option to do that though  :lol:</p>
<p dir="auto">I don’t play league games to rack up a record, so I’ll just start a new one.</p>

<p dir="auto">If the attack does declare a combat against the sub, but has no destroyer, then the submarine has the option to surface or submerge.</p>
<p dir="auto">If the defender scrambles and the attacker has no destroyer, again, the submarine has the option to surface or submerge.</p>
<p dir="auto">Obviously, if the attack does have a destroyer, you force the sub the surface if you declare a combat against it OR if there’s a scramble.</p>

<p dir="auto">When conducting an amphibious assault in a SZ with a enemy submarine, you need to have at least one of your own warships present to unload your troops (I don’t know what aa50 was like in that regard).  You don’t need to fight the sub, but the transport can’t be alone.  However, transports can sail <strong>through</strong> SZs containing subs without escort.</p>

<p dir="auto">please answer my question on subs, i only know the aa50 rules, which are that subs (and transports) can be entirely ignored for movement purposes during combat moves.  is this changed for the current global rules?</p>
