Singapore 1942

Hello, Has anyone purchased this game and are the pieces in size compatiable to Axis and Allies Pacific 1940?

soviet union download is not working

This is not anniversary edition, this is retail game “Spring 1942”.  The “lite” version.

Although it may have “25th anniversary” printed on it this game is/was $24.99-$29.99 and was seriously lacking on everything.

Neither for different reasons.

1939 Starting date imho is pointless because we all know that Norway, Western Europe and Balkans will have to fall and Italy has to join the Axis for Balance purpose. It offers players very little other than constantly repeating almost the same historical outcomes from 1939-1941.

1942 date is not good either because the most interesting parts (Barbarossa/Japanese Expansion) are passed and left the players very little options.

You can gauge the size of pieces against the infantry. There is a good set of pics at BoardGameGeek.
