I like the setup information for Axis and Allies Global Second Edition 1939 and was wondering if there is a setup for the global game for 1936 which include the Italian - Ethiopian conflict, or if there is global setup starting in 1937 which would primarily include China and Japan?

what are those strange red lines in areas of the Pacific marking borders?
-
Good eye IL, if Japanese units cross this line at any time during the game, it automatically triggers war with the allies. The allies can only initiate war starting Spring 42, its a smart way keeping Japan contain until they are ready to fight the Allies, up to that point its basically war only with the chinese. It also guides the game to a more historical path, have japan build up,then suprsise attack the US navy in W41 turn. Up to Spring 42 the allies movement is restricted by rules.

@georgemak1 hi any chance of getting the rules on this game?
-
This game will be played in Tempi, Arizona at the convention ( summer i think) The rules are less than before but they are a bit more complicated than even global 1936. I bought the first mega copy ( $995.00 i remember) and sold it. It was a high curve to maintain in terms of getting the pieces and counters together… ( it took too much time) If you enjoy Hearts of Iron style this game is for you.
