Help With Technolgy

Ive managed to open the files so I think ive figured this out. I just need to download BigPieces.bmp so the units wont be microscopic.

Put these in the folder with your other game saves… :mrgreen:

Generaly you can select casualties for your opponent (take infantry before artillery, artillery before tanks …)

If there is a question (attacking sub gets 1 hit on a defending transport and a sub), then save the game when it is your opponents turn to select casualties, exit the game, and mail the saved game file to your opponent (this works better in 0.8.2 than earlier versions).  Your opponent can open the saved game, select casualties, and continue the battle.

Why do you need them? The game is already easy enough as it is. Cheat codes in A&A are for 1st graders. I’m serious, you should have no problem beating it.

Ahhh give him/her a break. It’s only their first time playing. I remember my first game (I was UK) where my first purchase phase consisted of 1 Battleship and saving the rest of the IPCs for… another next turn Battleship!! Then I built an IC in Iran. This was before I learned about the limited IC producing based on territorial IPC value.

Quintopia, I suggest that you build tanks and infantry at a 3 to 1 ratio. Oh, and build a fighter each other turn if you can.
