99% sure open communication is allowed. The extent to which it’s allowed is up to you, though. With my play-group we cut it off at “talk of general strategy is allowed, anything more specific is not.” We do it this way because of bad experiences where multi-player games would devolve into the “good” Axis Player and the “good” Allies Player forcing their teammates to obey their orders on what to do each turn, effectively turning the game into a 1v1 with a peanut gallery. That’s not much fun for anyone.
Rules Question (Krieghund help!! lol)

Hey Krieghund (sp?) or anyone else out there, I need to questions answered for a game we are playing now.
1. If the US is not yet at war with Japan, and flies their fighter from the Philipinnes to Burma or Kwangtung, if the Japanese then attack the British in either of those territories, does it provoke the US and bring them into the war? Or can this non-combat move even be made by the US
2. Can Russia, when not yet at war, move ships into a seazone with UK ships, and can they move into a seazone with German ships?
3. Can Russia, when not at war, move into NW Persia?
Thank you!

Hi SS Panther, i’m not completely sure but from my current knowledge of A&A Alpha+2, i will try to answer these. Someone correct me if i’m wrong:
1. If Japan makes an unprovoked DoW against the UK, and attacks Kwangtung or Burma, then yes, this will awake the sleeping giant. The US fighter then would be defending the territory.
2. I’m not sure on this one.
3. Nations can only move into friendly neutrals when at war. -

1. The US, while neutral, cannot move units into or over territories that do not belong to them. They cannot move a fighter into a UK territory, and thus this example can never happen.
2. Can Russia, when not yet at war, move ships into a seazone with UK ships, and can they move into a seazone with German ships?
3. Can Russia, when not at war, move into NW Persia?

2. Yes
3. No, not until at war on that side of the board (so war against German or Italy).
